Jesse Owens National Youth Games
		The Jesse Owens National Youth Games were founded by trailblazing African American track star Jesse Owens, who won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin but was notably snubbed by Adolf Hitler at the medals ceremony because of his race. Owens founded the youth games, originally called the Jesse Owens National Games for Boys and Girls, in 1964.
